Men’s Norwegian sweaters
The 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics in Norway inspired the Norwegian sweater line by Icewear, but a rich history predated that event. Back in the 15th century, Norwegian sweaters were knitted by villagers but limited to the colors they could achieve with local dyes: gray, cream, and blue.
As more dyes became available, the Norwegian purl in traditional Norwegian sweaters also grew more popular elsewhere.
The result: you can enjoy a wider array of Norwegian sweaters
Today, Icewear’s Norwegian sweaters for men come in a variety of weights using a range of wool types from light Merino wool to heavier wool, not to mention an endless selection of colors and patterns.
