Inspired by a mountain range in a Önundarfjörður, one of the Westfjords in Iceland. The name, Hafið eða fjöllin (The sea or the mountains, is a reference to a local song. This woolen version has a close sister, the silk version. Circular needles. Adjust to gauge. GAUGE Stockinette stitch in the round: 14 sts = 10 cm. METHOD Knitted from the top down and separated into body and sleeves after the yoke. The mountain pattern is made with Estonian Vikkel stitch, two-stitch cables.
