Fun mittens, hand-knitted from Icewear’s Artic yarn and exquisite hand-dyed sock yarn. The pattern draws inspiration from the charming fences and gates I captured in a quaint Spanish village. Each pair is a playful dance of color, where multicolored yarns come together to create a rich and vibrant pattern. SIZES One size - womens. YARN Artic from Icewear garn One skein is 50 g (175m/191yd). An option is to use hand dyed sock yarn for color 2. Color 1: #9165 black, 1 skein. Color 2: On the picture to the left: Hlaup - 80/20 merino/ nylon sockyarn from Hex Hex. NEEDLES US 2.5 (3 mm) and US 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles or circular, if you knit with magic loop. GAUGE 34 sts and 34 rounds = 10 cm in chart pattern knitting with two colors on needles US 2 (2.75 mm). Use bigger or smaller needles to make the mittens bigger or smaller. METHOD Cast on 2 double pointed needles and then knit the edge on four. Knit according to the pattern chart and knit the thumb at the end. * Available in English and Icelandic
