Saga Tweed is spun from New Zealand wool. The wool is exceptionally warm and soft, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor garments. The fine, multicolored polyester neps woven into the wool create a beautiful, heathered appearance in the finished pieces knitted from the yarn. Saga Tweed is well-suited for garments such as sweaters, hats, mittens and more. Attributes: Content: 97% wool,3% polyester Weight/Length: 1.76 oz – 109 yd (50 g – 100 m) Needle size: US 7-8 (4.5-5 mm) Gauge: 4x4 in (10x10 cm) = 18 sts and 24 rows Weight: Aran Oeko-tex certified Care:  Hand wash at low temperature (max 30°C (86°F)). Gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry.
