The majority of Icewear's product line is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, including shell and rain wear, wool clothing, wool insulation, all Icewear yarn, and the Black Sheep outdoor line. The certification gives third-party quality confirmation that the products contain no harmful substances for people or the environment.

What is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100?
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is the textile industry's most prestigious certification worldwide. It ensures that products are tested for over 350 substances and confirms they are free from harmful chemicals. This means customers can be confident they are purchasing a certified garment verified by an independent organisation, neither the brand itself nor the manufacturer. Every single component used in the garment, including fabric, thread, elastic, zippers, and snaps, has been tested for harmful substances and is therefore safe.
All certified Icewear products carry a QR code where customers can access further information about the quality behind the product. Additional details about the quality label can also be found on the OEKO-TEX® website.
