Perla is a beautiful and elegant sweater with a yoke pattern reminiscent of pearl necklaces. You can play with endless color combinations—or even make it in a single color. Perla is relatively easy to knit. SIZES XS – S – M – L – XL – XXL Chest circumference: 117 – 121 – 128 – 132 – 136 – 140 cm Length from neckline: 54 – 55 – 56 – 57 – 58 – 59 cm Sleeve length to underarm: 39 – 40 – 41 – 42 – 43 – 44 cm MATERIALS Upper color combination: Saga Mini, 100% wool, 50 g – 250 m Amount: 150 – 150 – 200 – 250 – 300 – 300 g or Alpaca Silk, 70% alpaca / 30% silk, 50 g – 200 m Amount: 200 – 200 – 250 – 250 – 300 – 300 g and Mohair Silk, 65% mohair / 35% silk, 25 g – 250 m Amount: 75 – 75 – 100 – 125 – 150 g Two strands are knitted together—one from each yarn type. NEEDLES Circular needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm (US 4 and 6), lengths 100–120 cm Circular needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm (US 4 and 6), length 40 cm Double-pointed needles 3.5 mm (US 4) OTHER TOOLS Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn, measuring tape GAUGE 10 x 10 cm = 26 sts and 30 rows in lace pattern on 3.5 mm needles 10 x 10 cm = 20 sts and 26 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles METHOD The yoke is knitted from the top down to the underarm, with lace pattern on 3.5 mm needles. At the underarm, the work is divided into sleeves and body, and switched to 4 mm needles. From there, sleeves and body are knitted separately in the round until the desired length is reached.
