Alpaca Silk is ideal for garments that are worn close to the skin. Alpaca Silk has also been popular for knitting shawls, as it produces a soft fabric that drapes beautifully. It is very well suited for baby blankets and baby clothes as well. Attributes: Content: 70% alpaca / 30% silk Weight/Length: 1.76 – 118 yd (50 g – 200 m) Needle size: US 1.5 – 2.5 (2.5 – 3 mm) Gauge: 4x4 in (10x10 cm) = 30 sts and 42 rows Weight: Fingering Oeko-tex certified Care: Hand wash at low temperature (max 30°C (86°F)). Gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry.
